AIIMS New Delhi121

The list changed after the notification:

  • Addendum No. 35/2026 (19 August 2026): AIIMS Madurai joined NORCET-11 with 30 posts. KSCH Hospital withdrew, so its vacancy is nil.
  • Addendum No. 37/2026 (31 August 2026): 50 more posts added at AIIMS Rishikesh.
  • Addendum No. 38/2026 (14 September 2026): final vacancy figures for AIIMS Bhopal (50) and AIIMS Mangalagiri (52).

AIIMS said the final seat position for allocation would be published on 30 October 2026. Check the seat position on the portal before you fill choices instead of relying on the 2,218 figure. As per the advertisement, 80% of seats at participating AIIMS are reserved for women and 20% for men.

Other hospitals that recruit through NORCET-11 include AIIMS-CAPFIMS, VMMC & Safdarjung and other central government hospitals in Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry, ESIC New Delhi, NITRD New Delhi and CIP Ranchi. Some of them issued their own notices alongside the main advertisement.

Stage I is only qualifying. AIIMS calls five times the number of seats in each category to Stage II, so the real cut-off is far above the minimum qualifying percentile (50 for UR/EWS).

Stage II result

Result Notification No. 287/2026 (dated 9 October 2026) lists 10,613 qualified candidates: UR 1,842, EWS 1,210, OBC 4,676, SC 2,073 and ST 812. The qualifying cut-off was 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST. Rank is decided by Stage II marks only. Every candidate, including those who did not qualify, can see their score in MyPage.

The notice also says that, following an order of the Central Administrative Tribunal (O.A. No. 3371/2026), the results of certain candidates are being kept in a sealed cover. If this affects you, read the notice itself.

How to apply for seat allocation

  1. Log in to MyPage on aiimsexams.ac.in with your candidate ID.
  2. Open the institute allocation link. It appears only for qualified, provisionally eligible candidates.
  3. Select every institute you are willing to join and arrange them in order of preference. You are considered only for institutes you list.
  4. Submit and lock before 5 PM on 6 November 2026.
  5. When an offer comes, accept it within the given window and upload your documents. If you do not accept in time, the offer lapses.

Keep these ready: Stage II result, registration slip, admit cards for both stages, proof of date of birth, category certificate (OBC-NCL/EWS valid for 2026-27 as specified), INC/SNC registration, qualification certificates, NOC if you are a government employee, and an experience certificate showing bed strength if you are a GNM holder.

Is NORCET-12 announced?

No. As of 30 October 2026, AIIMS has not published any notice for NORCET-12. Both the NORCET-11 advertisement and the allocation FAQ say NORCET is now conducted twice a year. In 2026, NORCET-10 was notified on 24 February and NORCET-11 on 24 July, but AIIMS has not given a date for the next edition. We will update this page when the official notice is out. Until then, ignore any "NORCET-12 exam date" you see on social media. The advertisement itself warns that AIIMS does not authorise any agent, coaching centre or social media channel to share recruitment information.

If you are preparing for the next cycle, use the time before the notice to finish the syllabus. Our free revision notes cover the high-weightage chapters, and the NORCET previous year papers are available to practise under timed conditions.
